The impacts of biological invasions
ABSTRACT The Anthropocene is characterised by a continuous human‐mediated reshuffling of the distributions of species globally. Both intentional and unintentional introductions have resulted in numerous species being translocated beyond their native ranges, often leading to their establishment and subsequent spread – a process referred to as biological

This study examined the impact of summer temperature–oxygen squeezes on striped bass habitat, population size, and body condition in Lake Texoma from 1995 to 2020. Although suitable habitat volume consistently declined each summer, with temperature and oxygen influencing habitat in threshold‐dependent ways, we found no clear effects on striped bass ...

Here, we tested for cryptic diversity within freshwater mussels in north‐western Australia and identified multiple undescribed lineages. Distributional patterns were complex with some taxa displaying evidence of potentially recent long‐distance dispersal whereas others were more restricted in their distributions.

A schematic outline of the study showing where seaweeds were harvested, how they were analyzed and then evaluated for micronutrients. ABSTRACT Seaweeds (macroalgae) are increasingly recognized as potential nutrient‐dense components of human diets and promising contributors to sustainable food systems.
