Multimodal Actuation and Environment Adaptive Strategies of Bio‐Inspired Micro/Nanorobots in Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
An introduction for multidrive and environment‐adaptive micro/nanorobotics: design and fabrication strategies, intelligent actuation, and their applications. Various intelligent actuation approaches—magnetic, acoustic, optical, chemical, and biological—can be synergistically designed to enhance flexibility and adaptive behavior for precision medicine ...

Friction in production the coefficient of friction μ the factor of friction m

Proceedings of the 10th International Scientific and Expert Conference, 2022
Is given in the paper mathematical representation of friction. Bowden-Tabor Theory for cold forming and Bowden-Tabor Theory for hot forming Friction is sometimes helpful. For example, high friction on the punch surface helps increase reductions in deep drawing and ironing. In a few instances it has to have at least some small value, as in rolling where

On the Determination of the Coefficient of Friction and the Friction Factor by the Strip-Tension Friction Test

CIRP Annals, 1990
Abstract The strip tension friction test was used to investigate friction conditions in the forming of thin aluminum sheet without lubrication. In this test. which simulates metal flow around the leading face of a punch. the level of friction is judged based on tool-workpiece interaction when a metal strip, bent in the shape of a U.

Friction factor in nanochannel flows

Microfluidics and Nanofluidics, 2016
Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations are employed in order to access the detailed atomic behavior of fluids moving in nanochannels and to quantify the associated energy dissipation. Nanochannels of various degrees of wall hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity and roughness are studied.
