Acta Horticulturae, 2004Simeto' mandarin hybrid was obtained from a cross between 'Miho' satsuma and 'Avana seedless' mandarin at University of Catania. 'Simeto' mandarin is very productive with excellent fruit quality, but its heavy crop often causes complete inhibition of vegetative growth and consequently induces alternate bearing.

Advanced Materials Research, 2013Pumpkin (Cucuribita Spp.) fruit slices were subjected to pre-drying treatments and drying using methods of uncontrolled sun and oven drying. The two-way interaction between drying methods and pre-drying treatments had significant effect on chemical qualities.
