A generalized Fucik type eigenvalue problem for p-Laplacian [PDF]
In this paper we study the generalized Fucik type eigenvalue for the boundary value problem of one dimensional $p-$Laplace type differential equations \[ \left\{\begin{array}{lll} - (\varphi( u')) ' = \psi(u), \quad -T< x < T; \\ \quad u(-T)=0, \quad u ...

Sign-Changing Solutions for Nonlinear Elliptic Problems Depending on Parameters
The study of multiple solutions for quasilinear elliptic problems under Dirichlet or nonlinear Neumann type boundary conditions has received much attention over the last decades.

On the Fredholm Alternative for the Fučík Spectrum
We consider resonance problems for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian assuming Dirichlet boundary conditions. In particular, we consider resonance problems associated with the first three curves of the Fučík Spectrum.

Reshaping Phosphatase Substrate Preference for Controlled Biosynthesis Using a "Design-Build-Test-Learn" Framework. [PDF]
A design–build–test–learn (DBTL) framework for rational enzyme design is proposed to modify the substrate preference of the phosphatase BT4131. The best mutant, exhibiting significantly enhanced preference for N‐acetylglucosamine‐6‐phosphate (GlcNAc6P), is combined with a GlcNAc6P biosensor and applied to microbial cell factories, resulting in a ...

On the First Curve in the FučiK Spectrum with Weights for a Mixed p-Laplacian
We show the existence of a first curve in the Fučik spectrum with weights for the p-Laplacian under mixed boundary conditions. We also study the asymptotic behavior of this first curve.

Evaluation of carbonification of coals using a portable Raman spectrometer
This study illustrates that it is possible to discriminate among the coals of different degrees of maturation of the carbonaceous matter and other types of carbonaceous matter using the data acquired with a portable Raman spectrometer using spectroscopic parameters: D and G band widths and wavenumber positions.

A novel Escherichia coli K12 derivative was used as a chassis for 2′‐FL biosynthesis. Inactivation of transcriptional regulator McbR can improve 2′‐FL production. Double mutation F40S/Q237S of FutC‐J166 increased 2′‐FL titer by 1.55‐fold. Abstract The most abundant human milk oligosaccharide 2′‐fucosyllactose (2′‐FL) is a valuable component that has ...

An engineered Escherichia coli was developed for high‐titer FL biosynthesis by introducing multi‐level metabolic engineering strategies. Combined with the optimization of metabolic pathways and the performance improvement of rate‐limiting enzymes, 64.62 g/L of 2 '‐FL and 40.68 g/L of 3‐FL were finally obtained in the 3‐L bioreactors.

On some fučík type problem with cubic nonlinearity
We study the second order Fučík type problem with cubic nonlinearity and construct the Fučík spectrum for this problem. The spectrum obtained under normalization condition (otherwise problem may have continuous spectra) structurally is similar to Fučík ...

On Fučik spectra for third order equations
We construct the Fučik spectrum for some third order nonlinear boundary value problems. This spectrum differs essentially from the known Fučik spectra.
