Experimental evaluation of a full-color compact lensless holographic display
An iterative phase retrieval method for a lensless color holographic display using a single light modulator is experimentally validated. The technique involves iterative calculation of a three-plane synthetic hologram which is displayed on a SLM simultaneously lit with three laser beams providing an RGB illumination. Static and animated two-dimensional

Full dynamic resolution low lower DA-Converters for flat panel displays [PDF]
It has been shown that stepwise charging can reduce the power dissipated in the source drivers of a flat panel display. However the solution presented only provided a dynamic resolution of 3 bits which is not sufficient for obtaining a full color ...

Evaluating the Gapless Color-Flavor Locked Phase
In neutral cold quark matter that is sufficiently dense that the strange quark mass M_s is unimportant, all nine quarks (three colors; three flavors) pair in a color-flavor locked (CFL) pattern, and all fermionic quasiparticles have a gap.

Influence of temperature on the steady state and transient luminance of an OLED display [PDF]
In this paper, the influence of temperature on the luminance of an organic light-emitting device (OLED) display is investigated. Luminance, temperature, and power measurements are executed on a 55-in white-red-green-blue active-matrix OLED display with a

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Common Patterns in the Evolution between the Luminous Neutron Star Low-Mass X-ray Binary Subclasses [PDF]
The X-ray transient XTE J1701-462 was the first source observed to evolve through all known subclasses of low-magnetic-field neutron star low-mass X-ray binaries (NS-LMXBs), as a result of large changes in its mass accretion rate.
