Effective Three-Stage Demosaicking Method for RGBW CFA Images Using The Iterative Error-Compensation Based Approach

open access: yesSensors, 2020
As the color filter array (CFA)2.0, the RGBW CFA pattern, in which each CFA pixel contains only one R, G, B, or W color value, provides more luminance information than the Bayer CFA pattern.

Recent Advances in Patterning Strategies for Full-Color Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes

open access: yesNano-Micro Letters, 2023
Highlights This article reviews the recent progress in the patterning techniques of metal halide perovskites for full-color displays. Patterning techniques of perovskites are subdivided into in situ crystallization and patterning of colloidal perovskite ...

On the Origin of [OII] Emission in Red Sequence and Post-starburst Galaxies

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate the emission-line properties of galaxies with red rest-frame colors using spectra from SDSS DR4. Emission lines are detected in more than half of the red galaxies.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Polarization switchable two-color plasmonic nano-pixels for creating optical surfaces encoded with dual information states [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We demonstrate tunable, polarization-dependent, dual-color plasmonic filters based upon arrays of asymmetric cross-shaped nano-apertures. Acting as individual color emitting nano-pixels, each aperture can selectively transmit one of 2 colors, switched by

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Tripling the Optical Efficiency of Color-Converted Micro-LED Displays with Funnel-Tube Array

open access: yesCrystals, 2019
Color-converted micro-LED displays consist of a mono-color micro-LED array and color conversion materials to achieve full color, while relieving the burden of epitaxial growth of three-color micro-LEDs. However, it usually suffers from low efficiency and

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Functional brain organization of preparatory attentional control in visual search [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Looking for an object that may be present in a cluttered visual display requires an advanced specification of that object to be created and then matched against the incoming visual input.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
