Full Waveform Inversion for Time-Distance Helioseismology
Inferring interior properties of the Sun from photospheric measurements of the seismic wavefield constitutes the helioseismic inverse problem. Deviations in seismic measurements (such as wave travel times) from their fiducial values estimated for a given

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Inversion For Permeability From Stoneley Wave Velocity And Attenuation [PDF]
The in situ permeability of a formation is obtained by the inversion of Stoneley wave phase velocity and attenuation, which are evaluated by applying the Extended Prony's method to the array sonic logging data. The Maximum Likelihood inversion is used

Balancing Electrons to Break the Activity‐Selectivity Trade‐Off in H2O2 Electrosynthesis
Carrier‐concentration balancing in CuS is achieved by coupling cobalt dopants with cobalt vacancies, converting CuS from p‐ to n‐type to accelerate 2e− ORR while withdrawing excess carriers to optimize *OOH binding for H2O2 desorption. The catalyst reaches 8.14 mol g−1 h−1 with >84% selectivity in 1.0 M KOH and drives robust electro‐Fenton dye ...

Microwave Imaging of 3D Dielectric Structures by Means of a Newton-CG Method in lp Spaces
An increasing number of practical applications of three-dimensional microwave imaging require accurate and efficient inversion techniques. In this context, a full-wave 3D inverse-scattering method, aimed at characterizing dielectric targets, is described

Modified p-modes in penumbral filaments?
Aims: The primary objective of this study is to search for and identify wave modes within a sunspot penumbra. Methods: Infrared spectropolarimetric time series data are inverted using a model comprising two atmospheric components in each spatial pixel.

Efficient two‐photon resonant Raman scattering (TRRS) is observed in the layered perovskite (PEA)2PbI4, with the biexciton level acting as an intermediate state. TRRS undergoes two‐photon frequency shift upon input frequency tuning, persists up to 90 K, and shows clear threshold behavior and polarization selection rules.
