Physics‐Grounded Probabilistic Bits for Hardware‐Efficient Intelligent Inference and Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Si–SiNx interface traps are harnessed as a complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor‐compatible source of controllable randomness for probabilistic bits. Pulse‐width‐programmed stochastic capture converts nanoscale defect dynamics into Boltzmann‐consistent binary outputs, while a physics‐based Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis model ...

Challenges and Opportunities in Multi‐Method Integrated Geophysical Prospection of Buried Building Remains at the Sanctuary of Olympia

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Ancient Olympia was one of the most important sanctuaries and the venue for the Olympic Games in Greek and Roman times. Its remains are located in the Olympia Terrace (Peloponnese, Greece) at the present‐day confluence of the rivers Alpheios and Kladeos at the base of Mount Kronos.

Seismic Multi-Parameter Full-Waveform Inversion Based on Rock Physical Constraints

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Seismic multi-parameter full-waveform inversion (FWI) integrating velocity and density parameters can fully use the kinematic and dynamic information of observed data to reconstruct underground models. However, seismic multi-parameter FWI is a highly ill-

Experimental methods in chemical engineering: Cyclic voltammetry—CV

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Cyclic voltammetry (CV) is a foundational electroanalytical technique for investigating redox behaviour and evaluating material performance across fields such as molecular electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, sensing, and energy storage. Despite its widespread use, a gap remains between formal electrochemical theory and the practical data ...

How Does Neural Network Reparametrization Improve Geophysical Inversion?

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation
Full waveform inversion (FWI) is a high‐resolution seismic inversion technique and great efforts have been made to mitigate the multi‐solution problem, such as the traditional total variation (TV) regularization. Different from traditional regularization,

A 40.68‐MHz Active Rectifier Using PLL and PWM Control of DC‐DC Converter for ON/OFF Delay Compensation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, EarlyView.
A ramp‐based phase‐locked loop (RPLL) active rectifier operating at 40.68 MHz compensates switching delay variations to improve phase alignment. The proposed architecture achieves 90.3% peak power conversion efficiency and 98.0% voltage conversion ratio for high‐frequency wireless power transfer in implantable medical devices.
