Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Some New Approaches to Fractional Euler–Maclaurin-Type Inequalities via Various Function Classes
This paper aims to examine an approach that studies many Euler–Maclaurin-type inequalities for various function classes applying Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals.

Eigenvalues of the negative Laplacian for arbitrary multiply connected domains
The purpose of this paper is to derive some interesting asymptotic formulae for spectra of arbitrary multiply connected bounded domains in two or three dimensions, linked with variation of positive distinct functions entering the boundary conditions ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

On the first and second variation in the sense of Schramm-Riesz
In this paper we present a generalization of the concepts of first and second F-variation (where F is a certain sequence of positive convex function defined on [0;+8], in the sense of Schramm-Riesz for normed space valued functions defined on an interval

Some properties of Urysohn-Stieltjes integral operators
We investigate some properties of Urysohn-Stieltjes integral operators. The assumptions will be formulated under which the operators in question transform the space of coatinuous functions into itself or in the space of functions of bounded variation ...

Minimizing Functions with Bounded Variation of Subgradients [PDF]
In many applications it is possible to justify a reasonable bound for possible variation of subgradients of objective function rather than for their uniform magnitude. In this paper we develop a new class of efficient primal-dual subgradient schemes for such problem classes.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

On functions of bounded ω-variation, II [PDF]
Let ω(x) be a non-decreasing function defined in the interval [a, b]. We extend the definition to all x by taking ω(x) = ω(a) for x < a and ω(x) = ω(b) for x > b. R. L. Jeffery [2] has denoted by the class of functions F(x) defined as follows:

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
