The impact of light on beer degradation is a well-established phenomenon, leading to development of undesirable flavours or, in severe cases, complete spoilage. This study investigates the extent to which photodegradation is perceptible to beer consumers.

Bayesian Functional Data Analysis Using WinBUGS [PDF]
We provide user friendly software for Bayesian analysis of functional data models using \pkg{WinBUGS}~1.4. The excellent properties of Bayesian analysis in this context are due to: (1) dimensionality reduction, which leads to low dimensional projection ...

AbstractData spaces, simply put, are a functionality for users. They allow users to control their data while sharing it with others. This functionality is what makes data spaces so powerful. They allow data to be shared multilaterally. Those who join a data space can reach many others who have also signed up.

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Recursive Estimation of the Expectile-Based Shortfall in Functional Ergodic Time Series
This paper considers the Recursive Kernel Estimator (RKE) of the expectile-based conditional shortfall. The estimator is constructed under a functional structure based on the ergodicity assumption.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.
