Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

On Dirichlet series and functional equations
There exist many explicit evaluations of Dirichlet series. Most of them are constructed via the same approach: by taking products or powers of Dirichlet series with a known Euler product representation.

Functional evolution equations
The paper concerns the functional evolution equation \[ u'(t) \in B u + F(t, u_t) , \;\;t >0, \] \[ u_0(s)= \phi(s)\in C^1([-r,0];X), \] where \(X\) is a real Banach space, not necessarily reflexive, \(F : [0,\infty) \times C([-r,0];X) \to X \) is a single-valued function and \(B: D(B)\subset X \to X\) is a multi-valued nonlinear operator.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Functional equations related to higher derivations in semiprime rings
We investigate the additivity and multiplicativity of centrally extended higher derivations and show that every centrally extended higher derivation of a semiprime ring with no nonzero central ideals is a higher derivation.

On a Functional-Equation of A. Hurwitz
The paper deals with the equation \((*)\) \(G'(z) = 2 \pi ie^{2 \pi iz} G(z + 1)\) and its adjoint equation \(F'(z) = - 2 \pi ie^{2 \pi iz} F(z - 1)\) in the complex domain. It is shown that \(G_ 0(z) = \int e^{-2 \pi iuz + \pi iu^ 2} \Gamma (u) du\) and \(F_ 0(z) = \int e^{2 \pi izu - \pi iu^ 2} \Gamma^{-1} (1 + u) du\) with integration over suitable ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

On the number of transversals in random trees [PDF]
We study transversals in random trees with n vertices asymptotically as n tends to infinity. Our investigation treats the average number of transversals of fixed size, the size of a random transversal as well as the probability that a random subset of ...

The Functional Derivation of Master Equations
Master equations describe the quantum dynamics of open systems interacting with an environment. They play an increasingly important role in understanding the emergence of semiclassical behavior and the generation of entropy, both being related to quantum

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
