On the associativity functional equation [PDF]
The author describes the class of continuous, nondecreasing, associative functions \(M:[a,b]^2 \to[a,b]\) such that \(M(a,a)=a\) and \(M(b,b)=b\), where \([a,b]\) is a bounded closed real interval. To this end the author surveys many known results of J. Aczél, C. H. Ling, B. Schweizer, A. Sklar, J. C. Fodor, E. Czogala, J. Drewniak, P. S. Mostert and A.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Orthogonal Stability and Solution of a Three-Variable Functional Equation in Extended Banach Spaces
This manuscript introduces a novel three-variable cubic functional equation and derives its general solution. Employing both the direct and fixed-point methods, we investigate the orthogonal stability of this equation within the frameworks of quasi-β ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

A Noninformative Prior on a Space of Distribution Functions
In a given problem, the Bayesian statistical paradigm requires the specification of a prior distribution that quantifies relevant information about the unknowns of main interest external to the data.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

A Certain Functional Equation [PDF]
By a simpler argument than that used by \textit{H. Haruki} [Aequationes Math. 36, No. 1, 1-19 (1988; Zbl 0656.39004)], the author determines all entire functions \(f\), \(g\), \(h\) and \(k\) satisfying the functional equation \(|f(z+ w)|+|g(z- w)|= |h(z+ w)|+ |k(z- w)|\).

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.
