Counting Real Zeros of Analytic Functions Satisfying Linear Ordinary Differential Equations
Let \(K\) be a compact real segment and let \(U\) be a simply-connected open subset of the complex plane containing \(K\). Suppose that \(f\) satisfies a linear differential equation of the form \(a_0 f^{(\nu)}+ a_1 f^{(\nu- 1)}+ \cdots+ a_{\nu- 1} f'+ a_\nu f=0\) where \(f\) and the coefficients \(a_k\) are analytic in \(U\) and continuous in the ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

On the Cauchy problem for linear hyperbolic functional-differential equations [PDF]
summary:We study the question of the existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence on parameters of the Carathéodory solutions to the Cauchy problem for linear partial functional-differential equations of hyperbolic type.

Recovering Holomorphic Functions from Their Real or Imaginary Parts without the Cauchy--Riemann Equations [PDF]
Summary: Students of elementary complex analysis usually begin by seeing the derivation of the Cauchy--Riemann equations. A topic of interest to both the development of the theory and its applications is the reconstruction of a holomorphic function from its real part, or the extraction of the imaginary part from the real part, or vice versa.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
