Fitness functions for RNA structure design
Abstract An RNA design algorithm takes a target RNA structure and finds a sequence that folds into that structure. This is fundamentally important for engineering therapeutics using RNA. Computational RNA design algorithms are guided by fitness functions, but not much research has been done on the merits of these functions.

Modelling and in vitro testing of the HIV-1 Nef fitness landscape. [PDF]
An effective vaccine is urgently required to curb the HIV-1 epidemic. We have previously described an approach to model the fitness landscape of several HIV-1 proteins, and have validated the results against experimental and clinical data.

Normative Values of Physical Fitness Test in the Elderly: A Community Based Study in an Urban Population in Northeast India [PDF]
Introduction: Physical inactivity exposes elderly people to higher risk of diseases. Assessing their functional fitness using fitness assessment tools like Senior Fitness Test (SFT) is helpful in geriatric care.

Visual function and fitness to drive [PDF]
Driving is recognized to be a visually intensive task and accordingly there is a legal minimum standard of vision required for all motorists. The purpose of this paper is to review the current United Kingdom (UK) visual requirements for driving and discuss the evidence base behind these legal rules.
