Coordination of the Fe-S cluster biogenesis network by the sRNA RyhB in E. coli
Iron (Fe) plays critical roles as enzyme cofactor involved in key biological processes but can also lead to toxicity by catalysing the formation of highly damaging reactive oxygen species.

Weakening the nuclear envelope: Lamin B receptor in melanoma metastasis
LBR‐driven nuclear fragility supports melanoma invasion. A: Melanocyte presents low LBR (Lamin B Receptor) levels, maintaining nuclear integrity and lamina‐chromatin tethering. B: During malignant progression, upregulation of LBR clusters at the INM (Inner Nuclear Membrane) during confined migration causes local lamina weakening and cholesterol ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Functional Genomics in Psoriasis
Psoriasis is an autoimmune cutaneous condition that significantly impacts quality of life and represents a burden on society due to its prevalence. Genome-wide association studies (GWASs) have pinpointed several psoriasis-related risk loci, underlining the disease’s complexity.

Omics in mini-livestock: a genomic perspective on the future of sustainable food systems
Mini-livestock refers to small vertebrates and invertebrates used as human food, animal feed, or for other beneficial purposes. They represent sustainable alternatives to conventional livestock, whose potential is now being revealed through advances in ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
