Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Existence results for semilinear perturbed functional differential equations with nondensely defined operators

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2006
We will establish sufficient conditions for the existence of integral solutions and extremal integral solutions for semilinear functional differential equations with nondensely defined operators in Banach spaces.

Comment on “Existence Theorem for Integral and Functional Integral Equations with Discontinuous Kernels”

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2015
We present a counterexample to the main result of the abovementioned paper showing that this result is false and cannot be improved in a simple way.

$C^n$-almost periodic and almost periodic solutions for some nonlinear integral equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2012
In this paper, we investigate the existence of $C^n$-almost periodic solution for a class of nonlinear Fredholm integral equations, and the existence of almost periodic solution for a class of nonlinear functional integral equations.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Solvability of m-product mixed non-linear functional integral equations

open access: yesBeni-Suef University Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences
The purpose of this paper is devoted to establishing the existence of solutions for m-product non-linear functional integral equations with weakly singular and Riemann–Liouville integral terms.

The Technique of Measures of Noncompactness in Banach Algebras and Its Applications to Integral Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We study the solvability of some nonlinear functional integral equations in the Banach algebra of real functions defined, continuous, and bounded on the real half axis.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Riccati equation‐based generalization of Dawson's integral function [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2007
AbstractA new generalization of Dawson's integral function based on the link between a Riccati nonlinear differential equation and a second‐order ordinary differential equation is reported. The MacLaurin expansion of this generalized function is built up and to this end an explicit formula for a generic cofactor of a triangular matrix is deduced ...

Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.
