A unified existence theory for evolution equations and systems under nonlocal conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We investigate the effect of nonlocal conditions expressed by linear continuous mappings over the hypotheses which guarantee the existence of global mild solutions for functional-differential equations in a Banach space. A progressive transition from the

Equations containing locally Henstock-Kurzweil integrable functions [PDF]

open access: yesApplications of Mathematics, 2012
The authors consider a functional integral equation of Volterra type \[ u(t)=h(t,u)+{}^{K}\int _a^t g(s,u(s),u)\, d\,s, \quad t\in [a,b), \] where \(-\infty

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Compactness Conditions in the Study of Functional, Differential, and Integral Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We discuss some existence results for various types of functional, differential, and integral equations which can be obtained with the help of argumentations based on compactness conditions.

Local asymptotic stability for nonlinear quadratic functional integral equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2008
In the present study, using the characterizations of measures of noncompactness we prove a theorem on the existence and local asymptotic stability of solutions for a quadratic functional integral equation via a fixed point theorem of Darbo.

The Technique of Quadruple Fixed Points for Solving Functional Integral Equations under a Measure of Noncompactness

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Under the idea of a measure of noncompactness, some fixed point results are proposed and a generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem is given in this manuscript.

Monodromy Transform Approach to Solution of Some Field Equations in General Relativity and String Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
A monodromy transform approach, presented in this communication, provides a general base for solution of space-time symmetry reductions of Einstein equations in all known integrable cases, which include vacuum, electrovacuum, massless Weyl spinor field ...

On some bessel-function integral equations

open access: yesAnnali di Matematica Pura ed Applicata, 1976
Two propositions of Bremekamp in the field of integral equations are revisited. Their common base is shown to be an elegant reciprocal relation between a pair of integral equations of Volterra type.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
