Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Rate of convergence of Stancu beta operators for functions of bounded variation

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2004
In this paper we study beta operators of second kind recently introduced by Prof. D. D. Stancu. We obtain an estimate on the rate of convergence for functions of bounded variation by means of the decomposition technique.

A duality theorem by means of Riemann Stieltjes integral

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 1993
Duality between the space of continuous functions and the space of bounded variations functions can be easily characterized by means of Riemann-Stieltjes integrals when we consider real valued functions defined, e.g., on [0,1]; here we give a self ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Weighted fractional Euler–Maclaurin inequalities for convex and bounded variation functions via Riemann–Liouville integrals

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This paper develops weighted Euler–Maclaurin-type inequalities using Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals for classes of differentiable convex functions and functions of bounded variation.

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

A Generalized and Refined Perturbed Version of Ostrowski Type Inequalities

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we first obtain a new identity for twice differentiable mappings. Then, we establish generalized and improved perturbed version of Ostrowski type inequalities for functions whose derivatives are of bounded variation or second derivatives ...

On density of fourier coefficients of a function of Wiener's class

open access: yesRevista Técnica de la Facultad de Ingeniería, 2011
In this paper we study the problem of density of positive and negative Fourier sine and cosine coefficients of a funtion of Weiner's class Vp whieh is a strietly larger class than the class of functions of bounded variation.
