Dynamics of Fungicide Sensitivity in Venturia effusa and Fungicide Efficacy under Field Conditions.

open access: yesPlant Disease, 2018
Venturia effusa, which causes pecan scab, has developed resistance to fungicides that were once effective. Over 2 years, laboratory-based sensitivity of fentin hydroxide (TPTH) and tebuconazole in V.

Microglia Mitochondria Support Neuronal Maturation via Metabolic and Transcriptional Reprogramming in Human 3D In Vitro Brain Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by disrupted neuronal circuit maturation. Emerging evidence implicates microglial function and mitochondrial regulation as contributors to ASD‐associated biology, yet the mechanisms linking these processes to neuronal development remain poorly defined ...

Characterization and Fungicide Sensitivity of Penicillium Species Associated with Postharvest Seed Decay of Castanopsis sieboldii (Itajii chinkapin)

open access: yesMycobiology
Castanopsis sieboldii (Itajii chinkapin) is an ecologically and economically valuable evergreen broad-leaved tree in East Asia. However, its recalcitrant seeds are highly susceptible to postharvest fungal decay, which poses a significant threat to seed ...

Calcium Shock Enables Efficient and Programmable Particle Delivery for Genome Editing Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Classical transfection and transduction are inefficient, particularly with confluent cells and organoids, and lack cell type‐specific programmability. This study presents calcium shock (CaSh), a method that dramatically improves particle delivery into single cells, colonies, and organoids.

Fungicide sensitivity of Mycosphaerella graminicola Tunisian isolates: the importance of drug transporter genes in the process of fungicide tolerance

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea, 2014
Seventeen Mycosphaerella graminicola isolates from Tunisia and two reference isolates from Europe (St-Q7-2 and IPO323) were examined for sensitivity to azoxystrobin and tebuconazole and for the importance of the drug transporter genes MgAtr3 (ABC ...

Rapid Remodeling of the Human Gut Microbiome in Response to Short‐Term Animal Product Restriction and Associations with Host Molecular Phenotypes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A real‐world model of structured animal product restriction practiced for religious reasons reveals the dynamic adaptability of the human gut microbiome to dietary change and uncovers reductions in diversity and rare taxa loss. Integrated microbiome, metabolomic, and proteomic analyses uncover coordinated taxonomic and molecular shifts and identify ...

De Novo Multi‐Mechanism Antimicrobial Peptide Design via Multimodal Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Current AI‐driven peptide discovery often overlooks complex structural data. This study presents M3‐CAD, a generative pipeline that leverages 3D voxel coloring and a massive database of over 12 000 peptides to capture nuanced physicochemical contexts.

Trisoxazole Macrolides Potentiate the Microtubule Assembly and Antimitotic Activities of Taxanes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Photoaffinity experiments identified tubulin as a new target of mycalolides. Though weakly cytotoxic, the trisoxazole macrolactone moiety enhanced paclitaxel's microtubule assembly and antimitotic effects. Molecular modeling studies suggested that MyC stabilizes α/β‐tubulin heterodimer interactions.

Mitochondrial CircRNA CircMT‐RNR2 Safeguards Antioxidant Defense to Support Fibroblast Functions in Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CircMT‐RNR2 promotes wound healing by enhancing fibroblast proliferation, migration, contraction, and extracellular matrix (ECM) production. It sustains mitochondrial redox balance by stabilizing the antioxidant protein PRDX3, thereby reducing ROS‐induced damage. In diabetic foot ulcers, hypoxia, hyperglycemia, and reduced FGF2 and EGF expression lower
