Stakeholder Perspectives on Therapeutic and Safe Building Design in Residential Care
ABSTRACT Residential care is a form of out‐of‐home care that plays a critical role in supporting vulnerable young people in Australia. However, there is an evidence gap regarding the built environment in this context. This research aimed to explore the perspectives of key stakeholders in residential care in Victoria, Australia, regarding design that ...

The vanadium‐dependent haloperoxidase (VHPO) class of enzymes has been shown to catalyze cryptic nitrile oxide generation in an oxidative [3+2] cycloaddition reaction between aldoximes and alkenes to generate isoxazolines. This biotechnology has been applied to a chemoenzymatic sequence starting from aldehydes through in situ condensation with ...

1,2‐Bisborylalkanes are valuable intermediates for chemical synthesis as they could serve as a platform to generate value‐added products with two distinct functional groups at vicinal positions. A novel strategy to synthesize 1,2‐bisborylalkanes via Fe ligand‐to‐metal charge transfer (LMCT) photocatalysis is developed.

Capital-Skill Complimentarity: Evidence from Manufacturing Industries in Ghana [PDF]
Using U.S. manufacturing data, Griliches (1969) found evidence suggesting that capital equipment was more substitutable for unskilled than skilled labor. Griliches formulated this finding as the capital-skill complementarity hypothesis.

Diazo Transfer From Nitrous Oxide Employing Phosphorus Ylides
A phosphorus ylide‐mediated strategy achieves the direct fixation of nitrous oxide (N2O) to access diazo compounds, which after intra‐ or intermolecular trapping, afford N2‐containing organic building blocks. This approach provides an alternative to hazardous diazo‐transfer reagents and establishes N2O fixation as a sustainable methodology.

Azide‐to‐Diazo Transformation Facilitated by Michael Addition via Phosphazide Formation
A new type of Michael addition based on azide‐to‐diazo conversion is disclosed. This unusual transformation proceeds via 1,4‐addition accompanied by N─N bond cleavage of phosphazide intermediates under practical conditions. The high versatility of the resulting Michael adducts enables the synthesis of a wide variety of organonitrogen compounds ...
