Potential role of Fusarium spp. in grapevine decline

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea, 2023
Despite studies associating Fusarium spp. with grapevine decline since late 1970s, no consensus has been reached regarding the roles these fungi play in grapevine health.

Involvement of Fusarium spp. in fungal keratitis [PDF]

open access: yesClinical Microbiology and Infection, 2004
Members of the filamentous fungal genus Fusarium are among the agents most frequently causing keratomycosis in humans. Fusarium keratitis is most common among agricultural workers in geographical regions with hot, humid, tropical or semi-tropical climates, but can occur more rarely in countries with temperate climates, such as Hungary.

sti35, a stress-responsive gene in Fusarium spp [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Bacteriology, 1990
A stress-induced mRNA was identified in the phytopathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum. Treatment of the fungus with ethanol resulted in the induction of a major mRNA species encoding a protein of approximate Mr 37,000. A full-length cDNA clone of the induced message was obtained.

Modelling the relationship between environmental factors, transcriptional genes and deoxynivalenol mycotoxin production by strains of two Fusarium species [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The effect of changes in temperature/water activity (a(w)) on growth, deoxynivalenol (DON) production and trichothecene gene cluster expression (18 genes) for strains of Fusarium culmorum and Fusarium graminearum was studied.
