Interaction‐Driven Assembly Pathways in Heterogeneous Active Microrobotic Systems
Peanut‐ and cube‐shaped light‐powered microrobots exhibit distinct magnetic and photocatalytic responses that determine their heterogeneous self‐assembly. In the dark, magnetic dipole interactions drive colloidal copolymerization with cubes acting as nucleation centers, whereas under light irradiation, phoretic interactions compete with magnetic ...

Miscibility Gaps in Fused Salts
Molten mixtures of AgCl, AgBr and AgI with alkali molibdates have been investigated. The silver chloride presents stratification phenomena only with Li2MoO4, the silver bromide demixes with Li2MoO4 and Na2MoO4 while the silver iodide demixes with Li2MoO4, Na2MoO4 and K2MoO4. The ability of demixing, for mixtures containing the same halide, increases as

Determination of Major Components in Rock Salt by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry with Sample Fusion
The lack of reference materials, and chlorine loss are two of the problems that need to be solved in order to aid the determination of major components in rock salt by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry.

A new class of sulfur‐free, oxygen‐bridged dibenzofuran‐based polymers is developed for ultrahigh‐refractive‐index applications. The rigid π‐extended architecture and enhanced molecular polarizability enable exceptional optical performance, combining refractive indices up to 1.848 with high Abbe numbers and full visible transparency. This work offers a

Mineral Deposition From Liquid Precursors Triggered by Complementary Polyelectrolytes
Polyelectrolyte additives can delay or prevent crystal nucleation in supersaturated solutions of insoluble mineral salts such as calcium carbonate. This work reports that adding a second, oppositely‐charged polyelectrolyte leads to immediate mineral crystallization from such metastable solutions.

Miscibility Gaps in Fused Salts
Abstract An analysis was made of the demixing phenomena in the reciprocal ternaries Li, Me/Br, F (Me = Zn, Pb, Cd). It was found that the system Li, Zn/Br, F shows only a "tendency" to demix; the system Li, Pb/Br, F exhibits a miscibility gap (MG) which could be completely detected in the whole composition square; finally the system Cd,

Recent highlights in the synthesis and biological significance of pyrazole derivatives
Aza-heterocyclic scaffolds are privileged cores in the composition of their potential therapeutic profiles and versatile synthetic intermediates. Pyrazole is one of the frequently studied compounds of “azole” family and consists of nitrogen in a 1,2 ...

Law of Corresponding States for Fused Salts
Reduced equations of state are developed for strictly ionic salts through an analysis of the configuration integral. In this way, appropriate laws of corresponding states are developed for vapor pressures, surface tensions, and melting points.
