On-the-Fly Fusion of Remotely-Sensed Big Data Using an Elastic Computing Paradigm with a Containerized Spark Engine on Kubernetes

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Remotely-sensed satellite image fusion is indispensable for the generation of long-term gap-free Earth observation data. While cloud computing (CC) provides the big picture for RS big data (RSBD), the fundamental question of the efficient fusion of RSBD ...

A Reliability-Based Track Fusion Algorithm

open access: yesPLOS ONE, 2015
The common track fusion algorithms in multi-sensor systems have some defects, such as serious imbalances between accuracy and computational cost, the same treatment of all the sensor information regardless of their quality, high fusion errors at inflection points.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Customer credit modeling and credit granting method based on hybrid algorithm of collaborative filtering and social network

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
With the expansion of market demand for customer credit screening, the traditional FICO credit modeling method relies on a large number of historical credit behavior of trustees, and the limitation of weak ability to identify group attributes is constantly

Dynamic Yarn-Tension Detection Using Machine Vision Combined with a Tension Observer

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Machine vision can prevent additional stress on yarn caused by contact measurement, as well as the risk of hairiness and breakage. However, the speed of the machine vision system is limited by image processing, and the tension detection method based on ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Video inter-frame tampering detection algorithm fusing multiple features

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2020
Traditional passive forensics of video inter-frame tampering often relies on single feature. Each of these features is usually suitable for certain types of videos, while has low detection accuracy for other videos. To combine the advantages of these ...

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
