Fuzzy hypergraph and fuzzy partition

In this paper, the concept of hypergraph is extended to the fuzzy hypergraph. In the fuzzy hypergraph, the concepts of /spl alpha/-cut hypergraph, strength of edge and dual fuzzy hypergraph are developed. It is shown that the fuzzy hypergraph and /spl alpha/-cut hypergraph are useful to represent a fuzzy partition.

Fuzzy ordering of fuzzy numbers

Fuzzy numbers cannot be easily ordered as ordinary real numbers. Several proposals have addressed this problem, each with some drawbacks and limitations. This paper renounces to the idea of finding a universal ordering method for fuzzy numbers and suggests to compute the degree by which an arbitrary permutation of fuzzy numbers is ordered.

In this paper, several uncertainties are considered for investment acceptability decision by IRR method. First, some parameters in weighted average cost of capital (WACC) equation are assumed to be fuzzy numbers, a fuzzy WACC is obtained, and defuzzified by t-norm and t-conorm fuzzy relations.

Fuzziness indices for fuzzy clustering

Some indices of fuzziness are introduced for providing helpful information in fuzzy clustering. These indices play an auxiliary role in fuzzy clustering and can be used for deciding the number of clusters by combining with another criterion. Numerical examples are given for demonstrating how these indices can be applied.

Fuzzy coloring for fuzzy graphs
