Multi‐Dielectric Metasurfaces for Ultrabright, Tunable Structural Color and Reconfigurable Optical Filtering with Extraordinarily Large Color Span

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Structural color generation is an emerging field for digital display and printing applications. This report presents a novel truncated‐cone design and the first use of GaP sandwiched between two layers of TiO2, demonstrating ultra‐bright, tunable colors with a record color gamut.

Harnessing Ultrafast Optical Pulses for 3D Microfabrication by Selective Tweezing and Immobilization of Colloidal Particles in an Integrated System

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...

Inequalities in Triangular Norm-Based ∗-fuzzy ( L + ) p Spaces

open access: yes, 2020
In this article, we introduce the ∗-fuzzy (L+)p spaces for 1≤p<∞ on triangular norm-based ∗-fuzzy measure spaces and show that they are complete ∗-fuzzy normed space and investigate some properties in these space. Next, we prove Chebyshev’s inequality

A Proof‐of‐Concept Assessment of a Novel Wearable Eyelid Muscle Device: A Pre‐Clinical Animal Cadaver Study for Eyelid Closure Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

On T-Fuzzy Ideals in Nearrings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
We introduce the notion of fuzzy ideals in nearrings with respect to a t-norm T and investigate some of their properties. Using T-fuzzy ideals, characterizations of Artinian and Noetherian nearrings are established.

An AI‐Enabled All‐In‐One Visual, Proximity, and Tactile Perception Multimodal Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Targeting integrated multimodal perception of robots, an AI‐enabled all‐in‐one multimodal sensor is proposed. This sensor is capable of perceiving three types of modalities, including vision, proximity, and tactility. By toggling an ultraviolet light and adjusting the camera focus, it switches smoothly between multiple perceptual modalities, enabling ...

A novel Takagi-Sugeno-based robust adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode controller

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, a nonlinear dynamic system is first approximated by N fuzzy-based linear state-space subsystems. To track a trajectory dominant by a specific frequency, the reference models with desired amplitude and phase features are established by the ...

TacScope: A Miniaturized Vision‐Based Tactile Sensor for Surgical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
TacScope is a compact, vision‐based tactile sensor designed for robot‐assisted surgery. By leveraging a curved elastomer surface with pressure‐sensitive particle redistribution, it captures high‐resolution 3D tactile feedback. TacScope enables accurate tumor detection and shape classification beneath soft tissue phantoms, offering a scalable, low‐cost ...

Fuzzy clustering with Minkowski distance

open access: yes
Distances in the well known fuzzy c-means algorithm of Bezdek (1973) are measured by the squared Euclidean distance.Other distances have been used as well in fuzzy clustering.

The dynamics of consensus in group decision making: investigating the pairwise interactions between fuzzy preferences. [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we present an overview of the soft consensus model in group decision making and we investigate the dynamical patterns generated by the fundamental pairwise preference interactions on which the model is based.
