Hyperon mixing and universal many-body repulsion in neutron stars [PDF]
A multi-pomeron exchange potential (MPP) is proposed as a model for the universal many-body repulsion in baryonic systems on the basis of the Extended Soft Core (ESC) bryon-baryon interaction.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Di-neutrons in neutron matter within Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approach [PDF]
We investigate the appearance of di-neutron bound states in pure neutron matter within the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approach at zero temperature. We consider Argonne $v_{18}$ and Paris bare interactions as well as chiral two- and three-nucleon forces. Self-

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Effective interaction for pf-shell nuclei
An effective interaction is derived for use in the full pf basis. Starting from a realistic G-matrix interaction, 195 two-body matrix elements and 4 single-particle energies are determined by fitting to 699 energy data in the mass range 47 to 66.

Folding model analysis of proton radioactivity of spherical proton emitters [PDF]
Half lives of the decays of spherical nuclei away from proton drip line by proton emissions are estimated theoretically. The quantum mechanical tunneling probability is calculated within the WKB approximation.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Eigenvalues of the resistance-distance matrix of complete multipartite graphs
Let G = ( V , E ) $G=(V, E)$ be a simple graph. The resistance distance between i , j ∈ V $i,j\in V$ , denoted by r i j $r_{ij}$ , is defined as the net effective resistance between nodes i and j in the corresponding electrical network constructed from G

Graphs Whose Aα -Spectral Radius Does Not Exceed 2
Let A(G) and D(G) be the adjacency matrix and the degree matrix of a graph G, respectively. For any real α ∈ [0, 1], we consider Aα (G) = αD(G) + (1 − α)A(G) as a graph matrix, whose largest eigenvalue is called the Aα -spectral radius of G.

A G matrix analogue to capture the cumulative effects of nongenetic inheritance [PDF]
AbstractThe genetic variance‐covariance (G) matrix describes the variances and covariances of genetic traits under strict genetic inheritance. Genetically expressed traits often influence trait expression in another via nongenetic forms of transmission and inheritance, however.
