Statistical convergence in probabilistic generalized metric spaces w.r.t. strong topology
In this paper, the concept of probabilistic g-metric space with degree l, which is a generalization of probabilistic G-metric space, is introduced. Then, by endowing strong topology, the definition of l-dimensional asymptotic density of a subset A of N l

Fixed-circle theorems on \(G\)-metric spaces
In this paper, a discussion about the relationship betwee \(G\)-metric in the sense of \textit{Z. Mustafa} and \textit{B. Sims} [J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 7, No. 2, 289--297 (2006; Zbl 1111.54025)] and \(S\)-metric in the sense of \textit{S. Sedghi} et al. [Mat. Vesn. 64, No. 3, 258--266 (2012; Zbl 1289.54158)] is presented. Then, the authors introduce

By combining the notions of G-metric space and b-metric space, in this paper, we present coincidence fixed-point theorems for p-hybrid mappings in Gb-metric spaces. An example is given to demonstrate the novelty of our main results.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

A metric approach to limit operators
We extend the limit operator machinery of Rabinovich, Roch, and Silbermann from Z^N to (bounded geometry, strongly) discrete metric spaces. We do not assume the presence of any group structure or action on our metric spaces.

On coupled fixed point results in asymmetric G-metric spaces [PDF]
Abstract Using a combination of techniques introduced by Jleli and Samet (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012:210, 2012) and Samet et al. (Int. J. Anal. 2013:917158, 2013) on the one hand, and by Kadelburg et al. (Bull. Math. Anal. Appl. 4:51-63, 2012) on the other hand, we show that several coupled fixed point results in (ordered) G-metric spaces ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

The Samuel realcompactification of a metric space [PDF]
In this paper we introduce a realcompactification for any metric space (X, d), defined by means of the family of all its real-valued uniformly continuous functions.

A generalization of G-metric spaces and related fixed point theorems [PDF]
Summary: The idea of \(b\)-metric was proposed from the works of \textit{N. Bourbaki} [Topologie générale. Paris: Hermann (1974; Zbl 0337.54001)] and \textit{I. A. Bakhtin} [Funkts. Anal. 30, 26--37 (1989; Zbl 0748.47048)]. Subsequently, \textit{S. Czerwik} [Acta Math. Inform. Univ. Ostrav.
