Development of a Robust Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Fourier Transform Spectroscopy (DRIFTS) Cell for Elucidating Reaction Mechanisms in Nonthermal Plasma Catalysis

A dome‐type operando DRIFTS cell is developed to enable stable, uniform glow discharges that mimic dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) reactors. In plasma‐catalytic CO2 methanation, this design allows real‐time mechanistic tracking of surface reactions under gas switching conditions, revealing reaction pathways.
