Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Exploring the Role of Financial Development in Fostering Entrepreneurship in African Countries
A number of obstacles faced by African entrepreneurship, and financial concerns are frequently covered in academic literature. Studies in this area have generated a range of results that demonstrate the intricacy of the relationship between ...

We give an update of the observations and analysis of G2 - the gaseous red emission-line object that is on a very eccentric orbit around the Galaxy's central black hole and predicted to come within 2400 Rs in early 2014. During 2013, the laser guide star

The G2 checkpoint activated by DNA damage does not prevent genome instability in plant cells [PDF]
Root growth, G2 length, and the frequency of aberrant mitoses and apoptotic nuclei were recorded after a single X-ray irradiation, ranging from 2.5 to 40 Gy, in Allium cepa L. root meristematic cells.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

A simple parametrization for G2
We give a simple parametrization of the $G_2$ group, which is consistent with the structure of $G_2$ as a SU(3) fibration. We also explicitly compute the (bi)invariant measure, which turns out to have a simple expression.Comment: 9 ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

—The achievable performance of channel coded spacetime trellis (STT) codes and space-time block (STB) codes transmitted over wideband channels is studied in the context of schemes having an effective throughput of 2 bits/symbol (BPS) and 3 BPS.

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

Abstract The renormalization properties of the operator G2 ≡ Gaμv(x)Gμva (x) are investigated in both pure QCD and QCD with massive fermions. The computation of the operator's anomalous dimension is simple in background field gauge. The result can be be expressed, to all orders in perturbation theory, in terms of the anomalous dimensions of the ...
