Complete Analysis of Baryon Magnetic Moments in 1/N_c

open access: yes, 2004
We generate a complete basis of magnetic moment operators for the N_c = 3 ground-state baryons in the 1/N_c expansion, and compute and tabulate all associated matrix elements.

Assessing the adaptability and stability of maize hybrids using a Bayesian factor analytic model

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 65, Issue 5, September/October 2025.
Abstract Maize (Zea mays L.) is an important crop globally, and obtaining more productive and resistant commercial cultivars is of paramount importance. In this context, adequate analysis of data from multi‐environment trials is essential for the accurate modeling of genotype × environment interaction (GEI), thus providing crucial support for decision ...

Emissivity and conductivity of parton-hadron matter

open access: yes, 2013
We investigate the properties of the QCD matter across the deconfinement phase transition. In the scope of the parton-hadron string dynamics (PHSD) transport approach, we study the strongly interacting matter in equilibrium as well as the out-of ...

Eukaryote‐Wide Distribution of a Family of Longin Domain‐Containing GAP Complexes for Small GTPases

open access: yesTraffic, Volume 26, Issue 7-9, July/September 2025.
The three longin domain‐containing GAP complexes ‐ CSW, folliculin, and GATOR1 ‐ have a sporadic but pan‐eukaryotic distribution and were likely already present in LECA in some form. Their catalytic longin domains contain highly conserved sequence motifs, some of which are shared with structurally similar proteins of Asgardarchaeota.

Heavy-flavour production and nuclear modification factor in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$=2.76 TeV with ALICE

open access: yes, 2014
The measurement of heavy-flavour production and nuclear modification factor in heavy-ion collisions provides insights into the mechanisms of parton energy loss in the hot and dense medium formed in these collisions.

Genetic diversity among black cumin (Nigella sativa L.) accessions based on quantitative and qualitative traits

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2025.
Abstract To investigate the genetic diversity in black cumin (Nigella sativa L.), a total of 64 genotypes were tested in an 8 × 8 simple lattice design at Sirinika Agricultural Research Center for two consecutive years during 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.

Size of the emission source and collectivity in ultra-relativistic p-Pb collisions

open access: yes, 2013
The interferometric radii in the system formed in ultra-relativistic proton-lead collisions are investigated in a framework based on event-by-event 3+1 dimensional viscous hydrodynamics.

Hotspot of Exotic Benthic Marine Invertebrates Discovered in the Tropical East Atlantic: DNA Barcoding Insights From the Bijagós Archipelago, Guinea‐Bissau

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2025.
This study explored exotic marine benthic invertebrate species in the Bijagós Archipelago, Guinea‐Bissau, through the region's first scuba‐diving biodiversity survey and DNA barcoding. Results revealed 28 new species records, including seven first‐time East Atlantic species.
