The Effect of Exogenous Application of Gibberellic Acid and Girdling on Characters of Grapes (Vitis vinifera) cv. Yaghoot [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Genetic Resources, 2022
‘Yaghoot’ grape cultivar is the earliest cultivar known in the history of Iran. The main problem of this cultivar is the compactness and small size of its berries, under the influenced genes that are controlled mainly by Gibberellic Acid (GA3).

Induction of male sterility in lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) with GA3; influence of temperature and GA3 concentration.

open access: yesNetherlands Journal of Agricultural Science, 1978
During 1976, L. sativa 'Suzan' plants were grown in the glasshouse at constant temperatures of 17, 20 and 23 deg C, or with day and night temperatures varying between 25 and 15 deg C. Plants with flower buds 1-3 mm in length were sprayed with seven GA3 concentrations (0-400 mg/kg H2O).

Characterization of the transcriptional responses of Armillaria gallica 012m to GA3

open access: yesArchives of Microbiology, 2022
Abstract Gastrodia elata needs to establish a symbiotic relationship with Armillaria strains in order to obtain nutrients and energy. However, the signaling crosstalk between G. elata and Armillaria strains is still unclear. During our experiment, we found that the vegetative mycelium of Armillaria gallica 012m grew significantly better in the ...

Transcriptome analysis of the effect of GA3 in sugarcane culm

open access: yes3 Biotech, 2019
Our earlier studies have indicated that GA3, being a growth hormone, increases internodal length, in turn increasing sink strength and improving sucrose accumulation in sugarcane. In this study, transcriptomic level analysis was carried out on internodal samples of a high sugar accumulating variety (CoLk 94184) of sugarcane, to determine the effect of ...

Mechanistic Control of C─H Bond Activation and C─C Coupling in Light‐Driven Methane Conversion to C2+ Products over Multifunctional Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Methane photocatalytic activation under mild conditions remains a formidable challenge in the synthesis of solar fuels. In this review, we emphasize the growing importance of multifunctional materials and hybrid systems within a unified mechanistic framework that integrates selective C─H bond activation, formation and control of intermediates, C─C ...
