Evaluation Of the Functionality of Germanium Arsenide Solar Cells at Multiple Sites Following Distinction In Irradiation [PDF]
The efficiency of a GaAs solar cell was 24.3 percent, which at the time was the best of any single-junction solar cell. This paper shows the variation of output power when subjected to a variety of irradiation at different locations in India When ...

Front contact selection governs interfacial stability in CdTe‐based (Cd(Se,Te)) solar cells on ultra‐thin space‐qualified cover glass. Optimized TCO/emitter combinations suppress interdiffusion and deliver up to 16.2% AM0 efficiency with high specific power, demonstrating strong potential for lightweight space photovoltaics.

Tailoring Model‐Based Systems Engineering for Sub‐100 g PlanarSats: A Power‐First View Stack
ABSTRACT This paper addresses how to apply model‐based systems engineering (MBSE) to ultrasmall planar satellites under severe power and resource constraints. PlanarSats are sub‐100‐gram spacecraft built as single printed‐circuit boards where the same surface must host both electronics and solar cells, so power generation, geometry, and component ...

Germanium-on-Nothing for Epitaxial Liftoff of GaAs Solar Cells [PDF]
Solar cells from III-V materials offer outstanding light conversion efficiency and power densities and have a proven reliability record. Nevertheless, the utilization of III-V devices has been hindered by high production costs that partially stem from ...

Far‐UVC (200–235 nm) has emerged as a safe and effective indoor disinfection tool, but effects on skin immunomodulation remain unclear. This study demonstrates that 222 nm far‐UVC converts trans‐urocanic acid (UCA) to its biologically active cis isomer at levels comparable with solar radiation. In keratinocytes, far‐UVC alone caused modest increases in

Reliability Improvement in III-V Concentrator Solar Cells by Means of Perimeter Protection [PDF]
This paper presents the evolution in the strategy to assess the reliability of III-V solar cells and a new thermal ageing test carried out over GaAs single junction solar cells at three different temperatures (130, 150 and 170° C).

Recent Development in Solar‐to‐Hydrogen Conversion Systems
This review compares three solar‐driven hydrogen production methods, photocatalysis (PC), photoelectrochemical cells (PEC), and photovoltaic–electrochemical (PV–EC) systems by examining their mechanisms, materials, stability, and efficiency. Nanocrystal‐based PC catalysts achieved the highest quantum efficiency (94%), while PV–EC and Si nanowire PEC ...
