Dynamics Contributions to the Growth Mechanism of Ga2O3 Thin Film and NWs Enabled by Ag Catalyst
In the last few years, interest in the use of gallium oxide (Ga2O3) as a semiconductor for high power/high temperature devices and UV nano-sensors has grown.

Oxidation-Mediated Fingering in Liquid Metals
We identify and characterize a new class of fingering instabilities in liquid metals; these instabilities are unexpected due to the large interfacial tension of metals. Electrochemical oxidation lowers the effective interfacial tension of a gallium-based

Gallium-assisted diffusion bonding of stainless steel to titanium; microstructural evolution and bond strength [PDF]
Strong joints between stainless steel 304L and pure titanium (grade-2) were made using the novel method of “gallium-assisted diffusion bonding”. The microstructural evolution and interfacial reactions were investigated in detail.

Objective To investigate the association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and coronary artery calcium (CAC) prevalence, incidence, and progression over four years in adults without prior cardiovascular disease. Methods A case‐cohort study within ELSA‐Brasil included 585 participants (86 RA, 499 controls). Longitudinal analyses were restricted to those

Photoluminescence of chromium in gallium oxide and aluminum gallium oxide under pressure
β-Ga2O3:Cr3+ and AGO were examined under nonhydrostatic conditions by using mineral oil as a pressure-transmitting medium, which is nonhydrostatic above ~2.5 GPa. Similar to the case in ruby, the R1 line is much more sensitive to nonhydrostatic stress than R2.

Thermoreflectance Detection of Point Defects Resulting from Focused Ion Beam Milling
Focused ion beam (FIB) milling is a common tool for nanoscale material processing, however irradiation damage, redeposition, and contamination can occur. We use several characterization tools to show FIB‐induced effects beyond 1 mm from the milled area.

β-Ga2O3 material properties, growth technologies, and devices: a review
Rapid progress in β-gallium oxide (β-Ga2O3) material and device technologies has been made in this decade, and its superior material properties based on the very large bandgap of over 4.5 eV have been attracting much attention.
