Recent advances and prospects for high‐efficiency blue hot exciton organic light‐emitting diodes

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Blue organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) face great challenges in achieving the balance between color purity, device efficiency, and stability. Hot exciton materials offer a solution by rapidly converting non‐emissive triplet excitons into singlet ones through a high‐lying reverse intersystem crossing process.

Adaptive Display White Point Under Various Ambient Conditions. Part 2: Dual Illumination

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, EarlyView.
This study was designed to investigate how an adaptive display white point should be adjusted under different foreground‐background illumination conditions. It was found that the background illumination had a more significant effect. ABSTRACT Adaptive displays are designed to enhance the user viewing experience by dynamically responding to ambient ...

Gradient‐Structured Polymer Fiber Mats for Broadly Tunable Multicolor and White Lasing

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Hierarchically engineered electrospun fiber mats containing separated red, green, and blue dyes enable highly tunable multicolor and white random lasing. Spatially controlled dye distribution suppresses energy transfer, allowing precise color adjustment across wide color gamuts and accurate reproduction of daylight white standards.

Practical considerations for pathologists when selecting digital pathology systems: an ESDIP guide

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract The implementation of digital pathology (DP) has been reported across academic, public, and private laboratory settings, providing valuable insights into workflow transformation. However, comparatively little guidance exists on how DP systems should be evaluated prior to acquisition and deployment.

Printable and Stable Microlens‐Type Perovskite Quantum Dot Color‐Converting Resin Through Rheology Control for Efficient and Reliable Micropatterning for Full‐Color Displays

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A thixotropic perovskite quantum dot color‐converting resin (thixo‐PQD resin) is developed by rheological control and robust matrix encapsulation, enabling uniform micro‐dispensing of microlens (ML) thixo‐PQD array. The resulting ML thixo‐PQD array shows improved color‐conversion relative to flat PQD films and achieves long‐term environmental stability.

Kinetically Controlled Direct In Situ Photolithography of Perovskite Color‐Conversion Layers

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Kinetically controlled direct in situ photolithography (KC‐ISP) enables high‐resolution patterning of micrometer‐thick perovskite color‐conversion layers. By regulating thiol–ene reaction kinetics and redistributing precursors within the polymer matrix, lateral curing is suppressed and spatially selective crystallization is achieved.
