The impact of alloy fluctuations on the spin dynamics of mixed‐cation MAxFA1‐xPbI3 perovskite single crystals is studied experimentally by means of polarized time‐resolved photoluminescence. The high optical orientation degree, reaching 80% for x = 0.1 and 0.8, displays a minimum of 60% for x = 0.4.

Gamut mapping in a high-dynamic-range color space
Paper 90150A, 7 S.In this paper, we present a novel approach of tone mapping as gamut mapping in a high-dynamic-range (HDR) color space. High- and low-dynamic-range (LDR) images as well as device gamut boundaries can simultaneously be represented within ...

Optimization of CEST MRI Reporter Protein Design Using Cation‐Pi Networks
A novel engineering approach can produce reporter proteins for cell and viral therapy tracking with unique magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signatures, detectable with chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST). We discover how cation‐π interactions between amino acid groups can help us fine‐tune magnetic resonance properties for noninvasive ...

From the Field to the Laboratory: The Theory‐Practice Research of Peter J. Carnevale
Abstract As colleagues and collaborators, we reflect on the work and legacy of Peter Carnevale, currently professor at the University of Southern California, and recipient of the 2002 Jeffrey Z. Rubin Theory‐to‐Practice Award of the International Association for Conflict Management (IACM). We review Carnevale’s main contributions, including his work on

This study presents a novel quantum dot electrophoretic display (QDEPD), which combines electro‐controlled reflection and optically‐triggered emission to achieve efficient multi‐modal switching within a single pixel. By incorporating multi‐component nanostructures, the system enhances functional integration and multi‐modal response capabilities.

From Ad Hoc to Function: Vancouver Foundation's Journey to Learning Through Evaluation
ABSTRACT This case narrative details the Vancouver Foundation's (VF) journey from ad‐hoc reporting to a core internal learning and evaluation function. Catalyzed by the pandemic and motivated by the increasing need, VF established the Engagement Department to house evaluation independently.

Abstract Background There is emerging evidence for the role of the immune system in osteoarthritis (OA) pathophysiology; however, little is known about how immune cells and the synovial transcriptome are altered in naturally occurring equine OA. Objectives To evaluate synovial fluid (SF) and synovial membrane (SM) immune cell populations and the SM ...
