GAN Ensemble for Anomaly Detection [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 35(5), 4090-4097 (2021). Retrieved from https://ojs.aaai.org/index.php/AAAI/article/view/16530, 2020
When formulated as an unsupervised learning problem, anomaly detection often requires a model to learn the distribution of normal data. Previous works apply Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to anomaly detection tasks and show good performances from these models.

KG-GAN: Knowledge-Guided Generative Adversarial Networks [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Can generative adversarial networks (GANs) generate roses of various colors given only roses of red petals as input? The answer is negative, since GANs' discriminator would reject all roses of unseen petal colors. In this study, we propose knowledge-guided GAN (KG-GAN) to fuse domain knowledge with the GAN framework.

EC-GAN: Low-Sample Classification using Semi-Supervised Algorithms and GANs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
Semi-supervised learning has been gaining attention as it allows for performing image analysis tasks such as classification with limited labeled data. Some popular algorithms using Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for semi-supervised classification share a single architecture for classification and discrimination.

Conditional GANs For Painting Generation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
We examined the use of modern Generative Adversarial Nets to generate novel images of oil paintings using the Painter By Numbers dataset. We implemented Spectral Normalization GAN (SN-GAN) and Spectral Normalization GAN with Gradient Penalty, and compared their outputs to a Deep Convolutional GAN.

Bixbyite‐Type Zirconium Tantalum Oxynitride Thin Films as Composition‐Tunable High Refractive Index Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Multinary oxynitrides exhibit tunable structural and optoelectronic properties, though synthesis challenges have limited exploration. Using reactive sputter deposition, polycrystalline zirconium tantalum oxynitride films with varying cation ratios were synthesized, revealing a cubic bixbyite‐type structure, n‐type character, tunable bandgap and high ...
