High‐Performance Bio‐Glue From the Berries of a Parasitic Plant

We report a fully bio‐based adhesive derived primarily from a (poly)saccharide extract obtained from the berries of the hemi‐parasitic plant mistletoe (Viscum album), supplemented with tannic and malic acid without any further chemical functionalization.

Chiral‐Induced Spin Selectivity Effect in a 1 nm Thin 1,1′‐Binaphthyl‐2,2′‐diyl Hydrogenphosphate Self‐Assembled Monolayer on Nickel Oxide

A self‐assembled monolayer (≈0.9 nm) of an axially chiral binaphthol phosphoric acid derivative on a ferromagnetic Ni/NiOx substrate shows chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) magnetoresistance of 50%–80%. This thermally and chemically robust functional stack shows the way towards practical spintronic devices based on the CISS effect.

High‐Throughput Kinetics Enable Predicting Reactivity Across Mechanisms of Acid/Base Catalysis in Water

Tribochemical Interface Engineering of TiS4–Argyrodite Composites for Metal Sulfide‐Based Solid‐State Batteries

Amorphous TiS4 is studied structurally and electrochemically as a dry‐processed cathode for sulfidic solid‐state batteries. High‐energy ball milling (HBM) outperforms low‐energy milling, delivering up to 1110 mAh gS−1.
