Time‐restricted feeding prior to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection reduces tissue CD4+ T cells with limited impact on bacterial clearance

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Research on the Rapid Measurement Technique of Gas Content

open access: yes, 2011
Gas content is basic data for preventing gas disaster. So it is especially important for rapidly measuring gas content. Based on the experiments of typical mines’ coal samples in China, the rapid measurement nonlinear surface model of gas content was ...

Neutral hydrogen (H i) gas content of galaxies at z ≈ 0.32 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We use observations made with the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) to probe the neutral hydrogen (HI) gas content of field galaxies in the VIMOS VLT Deep Survey (VVDS) 14h field at $z \approx 0.32$.

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Strategic Eurasian Natural Gas Model for Energy Security

open access: yes, 2012
The mathematical formulation of a large-scale equilibrium natural gas simulation model is presented. Although large-scale natural gas models have been developed and used for energy security and policy analysis quite extensively (e.g., Holz (2007), Egging

Non-intrusive studies of gas contents and gas diffusion in hen eggs

open access: yesBiomedical Optics Express, 2018
A detailed study of the condition of eggs was performed using tunable diode lasers to monitor free gas in hen eggs. We detected oxygen and water vapor signals from 13 unfertilized eggs and studied the growth of the egg air cell over a time period of 3 weeks.

Pyrite Morphology as an Indicator of Paleoredox Conditions and Shale Gas Content of the Longmaxi and Wufeng Shales in the Middle Yangtze Area, South China

open access: yesMinerals, 2019
Pyrite is the most common authigenic mineral preserved in many ancient sedimentary rocks. Pyrite also widely exists in the Longmaxi and Wufeng marine shales in the middle Yangtze area in South China.

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

Research Progress and Analysis on Influence Factors of Initial Velocity of Gas Emission

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2020
As one of the important indexes to predict coal and gas outburst, it is of great significance to study the influence factors of the initial velocity of gas emission. Based on the analysis of the main factors affecting the initial velocity of gas emission
