Microsphere‐Templated Conductive Syntactic Foams for Recyclable and Additively Manufactured Soft Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a microsphere‐templated strategy to fabricate reprocessable PEDOT:PSS syntactic foams with tunable porosity, stable conductivity, and 3D printability. In situ PEDOT:PSS coatings create a conductive network that maintains electrical performance at high void fractions.

Hydrodynamic and Mass Transfer Characteristics of Annulus-Rising Airlift Reactor – The Effect of Reactor Scale

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Hydrodynamic and mass transfer characteristics of an annulus-rising airlift reactor (AR_ALR) were investigated with experimental and CFD simulation methods. A three-phase Eulerian model was developed to simulate the AR_ALR in three flow regimes.

Study on gas holdup in a fluidized flotation column from bed pressure drop

open access: yes, 2018
This paper investigated the overall gas holdup characteristics in a cocurrent three-phase fluidized flotation column with liquid as the continuous phase. The air, water, and glass beads with a diameter of 3 mm were, respectively, used as the gas, liquid,

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Gas Holdup in a Cocurrent Air-Water-Fiber Bubble Column

open access: yes, 2004
Effects of superficial liquid velocity (Ul ), superficial gas velocity (Ug ), and fiber mass fraction (C) on gas holdup (ε) and flow regime transition are studied experimentally in well-mixed water-cellulose fiber suspensions in a cocurrent bubble column.
