The Effect of Moisture Content on the Tar Characteristic of Wood Pellet Feedstock in a Downdraft Gasifier

This study examined the tar characteristic of wood pellet using a downdraft gasifier system. The wood pellet was used as a feedstock with a variation of moisture content between 2 to 6 wt. %. Tar sample was taken using the JP 2009-40885 method.

Interfacial Electronic Coupling in the GeSe2/Volcanic‐Rock–Like Carbon Framework Activates Reversible Intermediate Conversion for High‐Rate Sodium Storage

A combined sol–gel/solid‐state approach was developed to integrate GeSe2 with a “volcanic‐rock”–like carbon framework (C). C incorporation reactivates the otherwise irreversible intermediates Na2Ge2Se5 and Na2GeSe3, thereby suppressing irreversible Na+ consumption.
