Generalized Bivariate Baskakov Durrmeyer operators and associated GBS operators

open access: yesFilomat, 2022
In the present research article, we construct a new sequence of Generalized Bivariate Baskakov Durrmeyer Operators. We investigate rate of convergence and the order of approximation with the aid of modulus of continuity in terms of well known Peetre?s K-functional, Voronovskaja type theorems and Lipschitz maximal functions.

Quantitative estimates for GBS operators of Chlodowsky-Szász type

open access: yesFilomat, 2017
In this study we construct the GBS (Generalized Boolean Sum) operators associated with combination of Chlodowsky and modified Sz?sz operators and estimate the degree of approximation for these operators in terms of the mixed (B?gel) modulus of smoothness. Furthermore, we improve the measure of smoothness by the mixed K-functional.

On certain GBS-Durrmeyer operators based on $q$-integers

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Mathematics, 2017
Summary: In the present paper we introduce the GBS (Generalized Boolean Sum) operators of Durrmeyer type based on \(q\)-integers and the approximation of B-continuous functions using the above operators is studied. In addition, a uniform convergence theorem is established and the degree of approximation in terms of mixed modulus of continuity is ...

GBS operators of bivariate Bernstein‐Durrmeyer–type on a triangle

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2018
The purpose of the present paper is to define the GBS (Generalized Boolean Sum) operators associated with the two‐dimensional Bernstein‐Durrmeyer operators introduced by Zhou 1992 and study its approximation properties. Furthermore, we show the convergence and comparison of convergence with the GBS of the Bernstein‐Kantorovich operators proposed by ...

Quantitative Voronovskaya type theorems and GBS operators of Kantorovich variant of Lupaş-Stancu operators based on Pólya distribution

open access: yesMathematical Foundations of Computing, 2022
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>The motivation behind the current paper is to elucidate the approximation properties of a Kantorovich variant of Lupaş-Stancu operators based on Pólya distribution. We construct quantitative-Voronovskaya and Grüss-Voronovskaya type theorems and determine the convergence estimates of the above operators.
