Bivariate q-Bernstein–Chlodowsky–Durrmeyer type operators and the associated GBS operators
Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2019This paper deals with the approximation properties of the [Formula: see text]-bivariate Bernstein–Chlodowsky operators of Durrmeyer type. We investigate the approximation degree of the [Formula: see text]-bivariate operators for continuous functions in Lipschitz space and also with the help of partial modulus of continuity.

In [59, 60], Bogel introduced a new concept of Bogel-continuous and Bogel-differentiable functions and also established some important theorems using these concepts. Dobrescu and Matei [80] showed the convergence of the Boolean sum of bivariate generalization of Bernstein polynomials to the B-continuous function on a bounded interval.

Bivariate α,q-Bernstein–Kantorovich Operators and GBS Operators of Bivariate α,q-Bernstein–Kantorovich Type [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a family of bivariate α , q -Bernstein–Kantorovich operators and a family of G B S (Generalized Boolean Sum) operators of bivariate α , q -Bernstein–Kantorovich type. For the former, we obtain the estimate of moments and central moments, investigate the degree of approximation for these bivariate ...

Operation of the 2030 GB power generation system
Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers - Energy, 2011A GB electricity generation system for 2030 with a large amount of renewables is studied. Its ability to meet projected 2030 demand on a half-hourly basis is investigated for two extreme weeks of the year: winter maximum demand and summer minimum demand. For each week, either operating costs or carbon dioxide emissions were optimised. The effects of a

ICs for 100-Gb/s serial operation
IEEE Microwave Magazine, 2009Recently, research activities in the field of 100 Gb/s integrated circuits (ICs) for communication systems have increased. This article discusses an overview of the building blocks of a hypothetical 100-Gb/s serial transmission system and points out some important aspects of such building blocks.

10-Gb/s Operation of RSOA for WDM PON
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2008We report on the 1O-Gb/s operation of the reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) for the next-generation wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network (WDM PON). The bandwidth of the RSOA used in this experiment is merely 2.2 GHz. Nevertheless, a clear eye opening is obtained at 10 Gb/s by using the electronic equalizer processed ...

Optical packet compressor operating at 100 Gb/s
Conference Proceedings LEOS'96 9th Annual Meeting IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society, 2002Summary form only given. In conclusion, we have demonstrated a 3-stage, 8-bit optical packet compressor that compresses an incoming packet at a bit rate of 100 Mb/s to an outgoing bit rate of 100 Gb/s. Optical packet compressors, which are a subset of tunable delay lines, are necessary for ultrafast packet-switched all-optical time division multiplexed

A transimpedance APD optical receiver operating at 10 Gb/s
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 1992The authors report an optical receiver which uses a separate-absorption-and-multiplication avalanche photodiode (SAM-APD) to achieve high sensitivity at a bit rate of 10 Gb/s. A transimpedance front end incorporating HEMT devices is used for high bandwidth and low noise.
