Generalized CP Invariance and the Yukawa sector of Two-Higgs Models [PDF]
We analyze generalized CP symmetries of two-Higgs doublet models, extending them from the scalar to the fermion sector of the theory. We show that, with a single exception, those symmetries imply massless fermions.

This work presents lightweight, lignin‐derived carbon fiber current collectors that enable controlled lithium deposition. Structural defects and intermediate‐sized pores stabilize pre‐nucleation quasi‐metallic lithium clusters, promoting uniform lithium plating and stripping.

Background Glutamate excitotoxicity is thought to be involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disease. One potential source of glutamate is N-acetyl-aspartyl-glutamate (NAAG) which is hydrolyzed to glutamate and N-acetyl-aspartate (NAA) in a ...

ABSTRACT The ciliopathies are a group of genetic disorders caused by defective function of either the primary cilia (a large number) or the motile cilia (a much smaller number). These have been defined as diseases with mutations in genes encoding individual ciliary or cilia‐associated proteins.

Two polysaccharides were produced by Chaetomium globosum CGMCC 6882 from glycerol (GCP-1) and crude glycerol (GCP-2). Chemical characteristics results showed GCP-1 and GCP-2 were similar polysaccharides, but the molecular weights of GCP-1 and GCP-2 were ...

CMB Anomalies from Relic Anisotropy [PDF]
Most of the analysis of the Cosmic Microwave Background relies on the assumption of statistical isotropy. However, given some recent evidence pointing against isotropy, as for instance the observed alignment of different multipoles on large scales, it is

Objective Regeneration and expansion of regulatory T cells (Treg) by low‐dose interleukin‐2 (IL‐2) therapy is considered a potential treatment strategy for a wide range of autoimmune diseases. To provide a pathophysiologically‐based rationale for low‐dose IL‐2 therapy, we investigated whether reversible defects in the Treg‐IL‐2 axis emerge in ...

Canadian certification exam pass rates are impacted by genetic counseling program location: A review of Canadian Board of Genetic Counselling data from 2007 to 2025. [PDF]
Abstract Despite significant growth of the genetic counseling profession worldwide, there are differences between genetic counseling training programs (GCPs), professional standards, and professional regulation. Certification of genetic counselors (GCs) in Canada was previously managed by the Certification Board of the Canadian Association of Genetic ...
