Potassium–sulfur batteries are investigated using UV–vis spectroscopy to track the evolution of potassium polysulfide species at elevated temperature. The study reveals sulfur radical anions as key intermediates and shows how solvent composition and cell design influence polysulfide stability, redox behavior, and cycling performance, providing insights

Replacing CO2 with CO at the cathode and integrating a catholyte‐layer membrane electrode assembly transforms paired electrolysis into a stable platform for co‐producing ethylene and 2,5‐furandicarboxylic acid. Combined experimental and techno‐economic analyses identify carbon monoxide and 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural as the most compatible pairing ...

Situation Calculus Game Structures and GDL
We present a situation calculus-based account of multi-players synchronous games in the style of general game playing. Such games can be represented as action theories of a special form, situation calculus synchronous game structures (SCSGSs), in which we have a single action tick whose effects depend on the combination of moves selected by the players.

Understanding Operando Water Management in Hydroxide‐Exchange‐Membrane Fuel Cells
Effective water management is vital for high‐performance hydroxide‐exchange‐membrane fuel cells. Using a custom water‐flux station, this study quantifies how membrane thickness, microporous layers, and operating conditions dictate internal water transport.

Porous Organic Cages for CO2 Capture and Confined Reduction
Porous organic cages (POCs) enable the coupling of CO2 capture and conversion through the interplay of molecular structure and solid‐state organization. Beyond intrinsic cavities, packing‐dependent pore accessibility and mass transport govern local CO2 concentration and catalytic performance, linking adsorption to reactivity in integrated capture ...
