The Geant4 Virtual Monte Carlo
The Virtual Monte Carlo (VMC) [1] provides an abstract interface into the Monte Carlo transport codes: Geant3, Geant4 and Fluka. The user VMC based application, independent from the specific Monte Carlo codes, can then be run with all three simulation programs.

Study on the factors influencing the output response of LYSO:Ce electron radiation detector
BackgroundThe total dose effect of ionization on satellites in Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) is caused by space particle radiation in GEO.PurposeThis study aims to combine high-performance cerium-doped yttrium-lutetium silicate (LYSO:Ce) crystals with ...

Development and validation of a TOPAS Monte Carlo model for a 0.5 T bi‐planar Linac‐MR [PDF]
Abstract Background MR‐guided radiotherapy enables real‐time imaging and adaptive treatment but may introduce magnetic field effects that alter dose deposition. Accurate dose calculation in such settings requires detailed Monte Carlo (MC) modeling. Purpose To develop and validate a detailed MC model of the 0.5 T bi‐planar Linac‐MR with an integrated ...

Geant4 validation with CMS calorimeters test-beam data
CMS experiment is using Geant4 for Monte-Carlo simulation of the detector setup. Validation of physics processes describing hadronic showers is a major concern in view of getting a proper description of jets and missing energy for signal and background ...

Development of a Geant4 Solid for Stereo Mini-jet Cells in a Cylindrical Drift Chamber
Stereo mini-jet cells will be indispensable components of a future $e^+e^-$ linear collider central tracker such as JLC-CDC. There is, however, no official Geant4 solid available at present to describe such geometrical objects, which had been a major ...

Celeritas: Accelerating Geant4 with GPUs
Celeritas [1] is a new Monte Carlo (MC) detector simulation code designed for computationally intensive applications (specifically, High Lumi- nosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) simulation) on high-performance heterogeneous architectures. In the past two years Celeritas has advanced from prototyping a GPU-based single physics model in infinite ...

Simulation of Light Antinucleus-Nucleus Interactions
Creations of light anti-nuclei (anti-deuterium, anti-tritium, anti-He3 and anti-He4) are observed by collaborations at the LHC and RHIC accelerators. Some cosmic ray experiments are aimed to find the anti-nuclei in cosmic rays.
