Cationic gemini surfactants have emerged as potential gene delivery agents as they can co-assemble with DNA due to a strong electrostatic association. Commonly, DNA complexation is enhanced by the inclusion of a helper lipid (HL), which also plays a key ...

We present SCIENCE, an in‐ear multimodal physiological monitor featuring two key innovations. Water‐triggered morphological expansion (a 2‐mm cylinder to a 9‐mm spindle) achieves conformal adaptation across complex canal geometries. Simultaneously, active biofouling mitigation disrupts cerumen barriers, reducing sensor‐skin impedance by 20%.

Single‐Particle FRET Probes Heterogeneity in the Ligand Shell of Colloidal Perovskite Quantum Dots
Single‐particle, single‐molecule Förster resonance energy transfer turns dye‐tagged ligands into nanorulers for the otherwise elusive organic shell of CsPbBr3 quantum dots. Distance variations within individual particles reveal pronounced local heterogeneity, while changes in the surrounding ligand chemistry shift the average dye–surface separation ...
