Genome-Wide Association Analysis and Genomic Prediction for Adult-Plant Resistance to Septoria Tritici Blotch and Powdery Mildew in Winter Wheat

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2021
Septoria tritici blotch (STB) caused by the fungal pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici and powdery mildew (PM) caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp tritici (Bgt) are among the forefront foliar diseases of wheat that lead to a significant loss of grain yield and ...

Unveiling the Genetic and Phenotypic Landscape of a Chinese Cohort With Retinitis Pigmentosa

open access: yesMolecular Genetics & Genomic Medicine
Introduction Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is a type of inherited retinal degeneration (IRD) that typically leads to vision loss in individuals of working age. Currently, over 100 genes and loci, as well as over 1000 individual variants, have been identified

STWave: Fine‐Scale Spatial Structure Discovery in Microscopic‐Resolution Spatial Transcriptomics via Patchwise Wavelet Graphs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
STWave transforms massive microscopic‐resolution spatial transcriptomics into interpretable fine‐scale tissue maps through patch‐wise inference, wavelet‐based multi‐scale encoding, and dual‐domain reconstruction. It reduces noise while preserving weak spatial signals, enabling efficient analysis of 6 40 000 spots of 2.47 GB GPU memory and revealing ...

Adipose‐derived mesenchymal stem cell injection into the KI10 acupoint mitigates cartilage damage in KOA rats through PGE2‐mediated α7nAChR/NF‐κB pathway

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In our research, KOA rat models were established and treated with ADSC injection into the KI10 acupoint. Pain relief, behavioral function, and joint structural improvements were systematically assessed using ethological tests, imaging, histopathological staining, transmission electron microscopy, and molecular analyses.

Genetic Diversity, Adaptation, Wild Introgression, and Coat Color Mutation of Golden Yak

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Genetic diversity, adaptation, wild introgression, and coat color mutation of golden yak from two populations on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau. ABSTRACT The golden yak lives on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau with a golden coat and adapts to high altitudes and strong ultraviolet environment. The golden coat is a prominent phenotype in many domesticated species,
