CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Time decay of scaling invariant Schroedinger equations on the plane [PDF]
We prove the sharp L^1-L^{\infty} time-decay estimate for the 2D-Schroedinger equation with a general family of scaling critical electromagnetic potentials.Comment: 26 ...

The Formalism of Generalized Contexts and Decay Processes
The formalism of generalized contexts for quantum histories is used to investigate the possibility to consider the survival probability as the probability of no decay property at a given time conditional to no decay property at an earlier time. A negative result is found for an isolated system.

Prompt decays of general neutralino NLSPs at the Tevatron [PDF]
Recent theoretical developments have shown that gauge mediation has a much larger parameter space of possible spectra and mixings than previously considered. Motivated by this, we explore the collider phenomenology of gauge mediation models where a general neutralino is the lightest MSSM superpartner (the NLSP), focusing on the potential reach from ...

TTT and R2TP chaperone complexes are required for the assembly and activation of mTORC1. WAC directly interacts with components of TTT, R2TP, and mTORC1, and these interactions are affected by the availability of glucose and glutamine, correlating with changes in mTORC1 activity.

How large could the R-parity violating couplings be?
We investigate in detail the predictions coming from the d=4 operators for proton decay. We find the most general constraints for the R-parity violating couplings coming from proton decay, taking into account all fermion mixing and in different ...

The impact of Hnrnpl deficiency on transcriptional patterns of developing muscle cells
We performed nanopore whole‐transcriptome sequencing comparing RNA from Hnrnpl‐knockdown versus control C2C12 myoblasts to investigate the contributions of Hnrnpl to muscle development. Our results indicate that Hnrnpl regulates the expression of genes involved with Notch signaling and skeletal muscle, particularly splicing patterns of specific muscle ...

Fermionic decay of a massive scalar in the early Universe
We derive a curved space generalization of a scalar to fermion decay rate with a Yukawa coupling in expanding Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universes. This is done using the full theory of quantum fields in curved spacetime and the added-up transition ...

Effect of dissipation on the decay-rate phase transition [PDF]
A general condition for sharp transition of decay rate from quantum to thermal regimes is derived in dissipative tunneling models when position dependent mass is involved.

Probing supersymmetry with third-generation cascade decays [PDF]
The chiral structure of supersymmetric particle couplings involving third generation Standard Model fermions depends on left-right squark and slepton mixings as well as gaugino-higgsino mixings. The shapes and intercorrelations of invariant mass distributions of a first or second generation lepton with bottoms and taus arising from adjacent branches of
