Gut Microbiota‐Isoallolithocholic Acid Crosstalk Promotes Calcium Oxalate Kidney Stone Formation via PARP1‐Mediated Parthanatos

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bile acids have been implicated in calcium oxalate (CaOx) nephrolithiasis. Here, we employ multi‐omics approaches to identify isoallolithocholic acid (isoalloLCA) as the key bile acid elevated in the feces, serum, kidney, and urine of CaOx rats, confirmed by spatial metabolomics.

c-Fos-driven metabolic switch of α-ketoglutarate orchestrates progression in prostate cancer

open access: yesCell Death and Disease
Prostate cancer is a highly heterogeneous malignancy, with distinct subtypes displaying unique molecular and metabolic profiles. This study identifies a compensatory shift in α-ketoglutarate (α-KG) metabolism in prostate cancer, where the tumor relies on

Natural‐Inspired Engineered Microalgae With Selenium Enrichment Enabled Potent Anti‐Tumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Se‐Ssp was engineered as a potent immunomodulator for activating innate immunity via the TLR and cGAS‐STING pathways, therefore converting “cold” tumors into “hot” tumors to achieve high efficacy and long‐term therapeutic outcomes. ABSTRACT Immunotherapy has shed light on clinical oncology for several decades.

Enhancing screening rates for bone health management in prostate cancer patients on androgen deprivation therapy with an automated outpatient system

open access: yesScientific Reports
Bone health screening is crucial before and during androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for prostate cancer, yet changes in bone mineral density during ADT are often overlooked.

Loss of CYLD on Chromosome 16q Impairs Homologous Recombination and Genomic Stability Through TIRR Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chromosome 16q loss drives genomic instability through disruption of the CYLD–TIRR–53BP1 axis. CYLD preserves homologous recombination by stabilizing TIRR and limiting 53BP1 accumulation at DNA double‐strand breaks. CYLD deficiency redirects repair toward error‐prone non‐homologous end joining, promotes mutational burden and homologous recombination ...

GSTM4 Suppresses Prostate Cancer Progression by Targeting TRIM27‐mediated ACLY Ubiquitination and Lipid Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GSTM4 enhances the interaction between ACLY and the E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM27, thereby increasing K48‐linked ubiquitination at the K554 site of ACLY and promoting its degradation. Consequently, GSTM4 regulates lipid synthesis, as well as the proliferation and metastasis of PCa cells, by modulating ACLY stability.

Integrated O2 and H2 Gas Therapy via Microneedle‐Assisted Photocatalytic Water Splitting for Accelerating Diabetic Full‐Thickness Skin Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A concept of integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy is achieved using a gas‐producing material. PMP nanoparticles, fabricated from platinum, MIL‐101(Fe)‐NH2, and phosphotungstic acid, are integrated into bilayer gelatin methacryloyl microneedles for transdermal delivery. These microneedles enable integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy and promote wound healing via

DIXDC1 Promotes Lymphatic Metastasis and Resistance to Cuproptosis in Bladder Cancer Through Mediating DLAT

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DIXDC1 drives bladder cancer progression by binding and stabilizing DLAT. This axis enhances NEK7 and CCNE2 mRNA stability to promote proliferation and lymphatic metastasis, while limiting copper‐induced DLAT oligomerization to reduce cuproptosis sensitivity, identifying DIXDC1 as a potential target linking metastasis with cuproptosis resistance ...
