The Prediction of the Maternal and Fetal Blood Lead Level via Generalized Linear Model [PDF]

open access: yesالمجلة العراقية للعلوم الاحصائية, 2009
Generalized linear models (GLMs) are generalization of the linear regression models, which allow fitting regression models to response variable that is non normal and follows a general exponential family.

Ristić-Balakrishnan extended exponential distribution

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology, 2018
In this paper, we introduce and study a new generalization of the extended exponential distribution, called the Ristić-Balakrishnan extended exponential distribution.

The Gompertz model revisited and modified using reaction networks: Mathematical analysis

open access: yesBiomath, 2021
In the present work we discuss the?usage of the framework of chemical reaction networks for the construction of dynamical models and their mathematical analysis.

Certain fractional integral inclusions pertaining to interval-valued exponential trigonometric convex functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Inequalities, 2023
. As an interesting generalization involving the interval-valued convex functions, the interval-valued exponential trigonometric convex function is fi rstly introduced, and their meaningful properties are then investigated.

Characteristic Function of Three-Parameter Generalized Exponential Distribution

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
This research is about the characteristic function of three-parameter generalized exponential distribution. Three -parameter generalized exponential distribution has three parameters which are μ as a location parameter, λ as a scale parameter, α as a shape parameter.

Exponential Bounds on Elementary Multipliers of Generalized Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1995
The paper is in continuation of the author's earlier papers [J. Math. Anal. Weighted k-Server Bounds via Combinatorial Dichotomies

open access: yes, 2017
The weighted $k$-server problem is a natural generalization of the $k$-server problem where each server has a different weight. We consider the problem on uniform metrics, which corresponds to a natural generalization of paging.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Dunkl generalization of Phillips operators and approximation in weighted spaces

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
The purpose of this article is to introduce a modification of Phillips operators on the interval [ 1 2 , ∞ ) $[ \frac{1}{2},\infty ) $ via a Dunkl generalization. We further define the Stancu type generalization of these operators as S n , υ ∗ ( f ; x ) =

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
