On the Application of a Hypergeometric Identity to Generate Generalized Hypergeometric Reduction Formulas

open access: yesAxioms
We systematically exploit a new generalized hypergeometric identity to obtain new hypergeometric summation formulas. As a consistency test, alternative proofs for some special cases are also provided.

Integral representations of generalized Lauricella hypergeometric functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1992
The generalized hypergeometric function was introduced by Srivastava and Daoust. In the present paper a new integral representation is derived. Similarly new integral representations of Lauricella and Appell function are obtained.

MiR‐30a‐5p mediates epileptogenesis in epilepsy models by targeting SOX4 to regulate the Wnt/β‐catenin pathway

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, Volume 11, Issue 3, Page 983-1002, June 2026.
Abstract Objective The pathogenesis of epilepsy is closely associated with neuronal synaptic plasticity. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) can regulate various biological processes by binding to specific sequences on target genes. This study employs bioinformatics, molecular dynamics, and experimental approaches to investigate the mechanism by which MiR‐30a‐5p treats

Evaluation of Certain Definite Integrals Involving Generalized Hypergeometric Functions

open access: yesAxioms
In 2012, Chu investigated the generalization of classical Watson–Whipple–Dixon summation theorems in the form of analytical formulas. By employing four generalized Watson summation formulas, the objective of this paper is to evaluate a new class of ...

Dissecting the polygenic architecture of psychopathology via singular value decomposition of eight psychiatric genome‐wide association studies and evaluation of component‐based polygenic scores

open access: yesGeneral Psychiatry, Volume 39, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Current research suggests that genetic risk for psychiatric disorders is largely due to distinct combinations of many common variants shared by different disorders. This points to the existence of latent components affecting different dimensions of psychopathology.

Integral Transforms for the New Generalized Beta Function

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2019
In this paper, some representation formulas for the generalized Gamma and Beta functions are obtained. Also, certain integral transforms for the generalized Beta function associated with the Wright hypergeometric function are derived.

Multi‐Omic Profiling of Gut Microbiota and Fecal Metabolites in Patients With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aim Intestinal flora composition in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) varies, and the relationship between intestinal flora, fecal metabolites, clinical characteristics, and PCOS pathogenesis remains unclear. This study aimed to elucidate the gut microbiota characteristics of patients with PCOS, focusing on changes in normal ...

ON CONTIGUITY RELATIONS FOR GENERALIZED HYPERGEOMETRIC FUNCTIONS

open access: yesIssues of Analysis, 2018
Summary: We derive formulas that generalize contiguity relations of Gauss hypergeometric functions to the case of hypergeometric functions satisfying differential equations of arbitrary order and also of solution matrices of their corresponding homogeneous differential equations.

Value of Generalized Hypergeometric Function at Unity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Value of generalized hypergeometric function at a special point is calculated. More precisely, value of certain multiple integral over vanishing cycle (all arguments collapse to unity) is calculated. The answer is expressed in terms of $Γ$-functions.

Proteomic Profiling of Plasma to Uncover Novel Intervention Targets and Prognostic Biomarkers for Chronic Liver Diseases

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 28, Issue 6, Page 5029-5042, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims The burden of chronic liver disease (CLD) is increasing. This study aims to identify protein markers for CLD and its progression, and develop a protein‐based risk prediction model. Materials and Methods We used proteome‐wide Mendelian randomization (MR), Bayesian colocalization and summary‐data‐based MR with proteomic data from deCODE ...
